We provide residential treatment that includes medical evaluation and 24/7 availability of our medical team, substance withdrawal management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), medical management of coexisting mental health issues, individual counseling, group counseling and activities, family involvement and education, case management, continued care planning, and ongoing monitoring and support.

When you arrive at the facility, you will be provided a specific schedule. Most days, the schedule involves at least 6 hours of scheduled activities including individual therapy and group education. Your schedule will include medical care as well as time for recreational activities including gym, swimming, and fun activities. You will also have time for meals and personal time. Your schedule will be individualized and is meant to keep you busy and maximize your ability to stay sober long term.

Screening & Admissions

Answering this question requires careful consideration on a case-by-case basis. Once you contact us, our clinical and medical team will evaluate your case including a variety of factors such as your substance use history, medical and mental health history, and social commitments including to work, school, or childcare and provide you with recommendations for the next best steps.

In most cases we are able to provide withdrawal management with medications and repeat assessments. You should contact us for a more individualized answer.

Call 949-416-8235 or use the form on our Contact page. The first step is a private consultation and clinical screening. Reaching out does not commit you or your loved one to admission.

Relapse after treatment can occur but to minimize the risk of this we provide a comprehensive, evidence-based program and set you up with aftercare including monitoring and support on a regular basis before you leave. If you have been unable to stay sober despite receiving treatment in the past, let our medical and clinical team know. We will review your case closely and work with you to determine and address factors that contributed to your relapse.

Prior to making any recommendations, our clinical and medical team reviews your unique situation considering a variety of factors including substance use history and medical and mental health history. We then discuss safer or more appropriate next steps with you. Reach out to us for a private consultation and clinical screening.

Yes. Many first calls come from family members. We can privately discuss whether residential treatment may be appropriate, what admission involves, and how to approach the conversation with your loved one.

This is one of the most common and painful situations families face. Adults generally cannot be forced into treatment outside narrow legal circumstances, but families have more options than they often realize. We can privately discuss practical next steps, including how to plan a structured family conversation or intervention with appropriate support.

During your first 24 hours at the facility, in addition to the regular program, you will have the following:

  • Orientation, walk through, and room assignment
  • Review of belongings, your schedule and program rules
  • Medication reconciliation and medical and nursing assessments

Privacy & Working With Family, Employers & Others

Yes. We follow privacy laws and confidentiality practices, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and federal substance use disorder confidentiality requirements.

We do not share information about your admission or treatment without your permission or as required by law. Federal confidentiality rules for substance use treatment are among the strictest in healthcare.

We generally do not communicate with any outside party except to the extent that you permit us to. If you wish, we can provide paperwork for a medical leave or activity restrictions. Additionally, if your employer or school is aware of your substance use, we can address their concerns, advocate for you, and find agreeable conditions for your return. For example, some employers want an employee to be on an ongoing monitoring program which we can provide.

Family involvement can be clinically valuable and is common in our program but will only occur if your consent to it. We will not communicate with family members without appropriate authorization.

No. You control your own health information. However, if you permit your medical and clinical providers to work with your family, they can share information only to the extent that you permit. This is often very helpful in recovery. Our medical and clinical teams can make recommendations to you during your stay.

Treatment Services

You will have a team of medical and clinical providers as well as support staff. This includes licensed physicians, nurses, therapists, counselors, and more.

Yes. Our clinicians provide MAT. Medication decisions are individualized and made by your medical providers.

We address co-occurring mental health concerns including depression and anxiety. Clients with acute psychiatric instability or emergencies may require hospitalization or care beyond what we can provide but we will be able to discuss this with you prior to admission.

We develop a continuing care plan that may include outpatient therapy, psychiatry follow up, ongoing medication-assisted treatment (MAT), monitoring to ensure continued sobriety, recovery support and community, relapse prevention planning, family aftercare guidance, and planning for the return to work or school.

The length of stay depends on clinical need, progress during recovery, continuing care planning, and recommendations of the clinical and medical teams. We are happy to discuss expected length of stay during admissions screening.

The amount and type of therapy you receive is determined by your clinical team. As our program is comprehensive, you will receive at least 6 hours a day of scheduled activities which includes therapy services and education. Therapies may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

Cost & Insurance

Insurance and payment options are reviewed during the admissions consultation. We can help you understand your benefits and verify coverage.

Cost depends on insurance coverage, length of stay, and individual circumstances. We discuss cost and payment during the consultation, before any commitment.

Whether you are Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Buddhist, Christian, or not religious, your practices are respected and never imposed on you. Quiet time and space for prayer or meditation can be accommodated. If you require specific accommodations, please let us know.

Yes but only in designated areas outside the facility.

While you will have access to your phone and laptop and be able to use it outside of scheduled activities, you should talk with us about your commitments prior to admission.

All prescribed medications and supplements brought in are reviewed. Your medical team at the facility will determine what medications or supplements to continue, add, remove, or change during your care but most medications are continued while supplements are only continued if medically necessary and are typically provided by the facility.

In general, we highly recommend you complete your residential stay as we provide a comprehensive, evidence-based, and structured program that is individualized to you to maximize your success. However, if a client is unable or unwilling to complete the program, we will work with them to determine the next best steps.
